I taught French at Oakwood High School in Madurai from 1986 to 1996. Most days I taught Year 7, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I coached the school's athletics team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Miss Kabir
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the capital, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

You taught me French in 2001 at Oakwood High School. I still remember the last day before the summer holidays. Truly.
