Miss Jemal
29 years teaching early years in Gondar
- 🇪🇹 Gondar, Amhara, Ethiopia
- Starlight Academy
- Since 2003
- English
For 23 years I have been the early years teacher at Starlight Academy. I teach Grade 6 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
More about Miss Jemal
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Miss Jemal: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
