I teach English literature at Hope Middle School in Bahir Dar since 2014. Most days I teach Grade 8, and I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I've had 650 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
