I taught geography at Saint Petersburg High School in Saint Petersburg from 1981 to 1994. Most days I taught teenagers, and I answered every email, even at midnight.
I coached the school's netball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Miss Hrytsenko
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

I was in your teenagers class in 1982. You believed I could do it before I did. Greetings from Manila.
