Miss Halim
27 years teaching Spanish in Jakarta
- 🇮🇩 Jakarta, DKI Jakarta, Indonesia
- Windsor Public School
- Since 1997
- English, Indonesian
I came to teaching late, after working as a night-shift cleaner, and 29 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've run the school newspaper after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Miss Halim
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Miss Halim: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
