I taught special education at Newport Secondary School in Newport from 1990 to 2004. Most days I taught Grade 8, and I never turned anyone away. Over the years I had 500 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

More about Miss Greene

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
