32 years teaching special education in Rio de Janeiro
- 🇧🇷 Rio de Janeiro, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
- Rio de Janeiro Primary School
- Since 1995

I teach special education at Rio de Janeiro Primary School in Rio de Janeiro since 1995. Most days I teach the final-year class, and I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
I've run the school newspaper after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I walk the dog by the river.
More about Miss Gomes
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Miss Gomes: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
