Miss Girma
27 years teaching English literature in Gondar
- 🇪🇹 Gondar, Amhara, Ethiopia
- Gondar Grammar School
- Since 1989
- English, Amharic
I teach English literature at Gondar Grammar School in Gondar since 1989. Most days I teach first-year students, and I play music while people worked.
Over the years I've had 890 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Miss Girma
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the national park, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

You taught me English literature in 2005 at Gondar Grammar School. I still remember the rainy sports day. Truly.
