Miss Gebremariam

Economics teacher at Hawassa Grammar School, Since 1988

  • ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡น Hawassa, Sidama, Ethiopia
  • Hawassa Grammar School
  • Since 1988
  • English, Amharic
For 38 years I have been the economics teacher at Hawassa Grammar School. I teach primary school children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. Over the years I've had 1,250 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

More about Miss Gebremariam

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
