I taught design and technology at Cedar Grove Grammar School in San Jose from 1981 to 2001. Most days I taught mixed-ability classes, and I never turned anyone away.
I coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.

What gifts mean to Miss Fuentes: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
