For 33 years I have been the art teacher at Birmingham Public School. I teach Grade 8 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Miss Ford
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Miss Ford: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
