For 24 years I was the early years teacher at Dallas High School. I taught Grade 8 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I run most mornings. Inside it, my door was open at lunch.
More about Miss Ford
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Miss Ford: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
