Miss Fernandez
History and computer science teacher, Lapu-Lapu
- 🇵🇭 Lapu-Lapu, Cebu, Philippines
- Hope Technical College
- Since 1996
- English
For 30 years I have been the history teacher at Hope Technical College. I teach Grade 6 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I'm learning the guitar. Inside it, I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Miss Fernandez
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Miss Fernandez: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
