Miss Fernandes
Statistics teacher at Juiz de Fora Academy, 1983 to 2007
- 🇧🇷 Juiz de Fora, Minas Gerais, Brazil
- 1983 to 2007
- English, Portuguese
I came to teaching late, after working as a shop assistant, and 24 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I had 1,420 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Miss Fernandes
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

I was in your Grade 8 class in 2019. You believed I could do it before I did. Thank you again.

I failed statistics twice before you. After you I passed with a B. Thank you! Greetings from Rohini.
