I taught social studies at Hồ Chí Minh City Girls' School in Hồ Chí Minh City from 1979 to 2003. Most days I taught mixed-ability classes, and my door was open at lunch.
I coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
