Miss Cheema
Biology and agriculture teacher, Abbottabad
- 🇵🇰 Abbottabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan
- Rosewood Middle School
- Since 1980
- English, Punjabi, Spanish
I came to teaching late, after working as a waiter, and 46 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 920 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Miss Cheema
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Miss Cheema: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
