Miss Chambers

Home economics and art teacher, Toronto

  • 🇨🇦 Toronto, Ontario, Canada
  • Pioneer Technical College
  • 1986 to 2008
  • English
I came to teaching late, after working as a night-shift cleaner, and 22 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. I coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

You taught me home economics in 1987 at Pioneer Technical College. I still remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam.
