For 24 years I was the music teacher at San Francisco Academy. I taught Year 9 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I ran the chess club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I walk the dog by the river.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Miss Carter
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
