Miss Carlson
22 years teaching physics in El Paso
- 🇺🇸 El Paso, Texas, United States
- El Paso Technical College
- Since 1983
- English
I teach physics at El Paso Technical College in El Paso since 1983. Most days I teach Grade 11, and I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
Over the years I've had 1,550 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Miss Carlson
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Miss Carlson: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You probably don't remember me, I sat by the window in 2013. I remember you. Greetings from El Paso.

You taught me physics in 2000 at El Paso Technical College. I still remember the snow day nobody expected.
