Miss Burton

Teacher at Orchid Secondary School, loves economics

🇬🇧 Leeds, England, United Kingdom
Orchid Secondary School
Since 1978
English

I came to teaching late, after working as a clerk, and 48 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. Outside the classroom I walk the dog by the river. Inside it, I write a short note to every student at the end of term.

More about Miss Burton

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

Subjects taught

You taught me economics in 1999 at Orchid Secondary School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
