Miss Belay

Retired mathematics teacher from Victory Grammar School

  • 🇪🇹 Addis Ababa, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
  • Victory Grammar School
  • 2016 to 2024
  • English, Amharic
I came to teaching late, after working as a waiter, and eight years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. I coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again. Thank you for stopping by.

More about Miss Belay

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the capital, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Miss Belay: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
