I taught special education at Manchester Grammar School in Manchester from 1980 to 2010. Most days I taught Grade 11, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I had 750 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

What gifts mean to Miss Barker: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
