Miss Bankole
23 years teaching biology in Abuja
- 🇳🇬 Abuja, Abuja FCT, Nigeria
- Silverlake Grammar School
- Since 1995
- English, Yoruba
I came to teaching late, after working as a mechanic, and 31 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 780 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Miss Bankole
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Miss Bankole: Any gift will help me keep tutoring for free.
