Miss Ávila
Accounting and drama teacher, Nashville
- 🇺🇸 Nashville, Tennessee, United States
- Nashville High School
- Since 1984
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a clerk, and 42 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've run the homework club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I watch every football match going.
More about Miss Ávila
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Miss Ávila: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
