Miss Ávila

Statistics and geography teacher, Jacksonville

  • 🇺🇸 Jacksonville, Florida, United States
  • Jacksonville Technical College
  • Since 2003
  • English
I came to teaching late, after working as a night-shift cleaner, and 23 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. I've run the homework club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I bake for the whole street at New Year.

More about Miss Ávila

Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
