Miss Amar
French and environmental science teacher, Beersheba
- 🇮🇱 Beersheba, Southern, Israel
- Orchid Public School
- Since 1991
- English, French
For 35 years I have been the French teacher at Orchid Public School. I teach Grade 6 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I'm still learning every day.

If you were in my Grade 6 class, you probably remember the long bus ride home.

What gifts mean to Miss Amar: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me French in 2004 at Orchid Public School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
