Misaki Uchida
Volunteer with Gateway Community Kitchen
- 🇯🇵 Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan
- Since 2000
- English, Japanese
I've volunteered with Gateway Community Kitchen since 2000. I started on a Saturday morning "just to help out" and never left.
Our crew is about 40 people now. Everyone brings something.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Misaki
If you've ever been helped by one of our sessions, you're the reason we keep going.
What gifts mean to Misaki: I'd put a gift toward transport for our volunteers.
