I work mostly in woodcarving, sometimes photography. My first show was in 1982 at Old Sapporo Art Collective, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by my grandmother's kitchen. I garden badly but happily.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
