Minato Makoto Fukuda

Badminton and fitness coach, Kobe

  • 🇯🇵 Kobe, Hyogo, Japan
  • Kobe Phoenix Athletic Club
  • 2017 to 2025
  • Japanese
For eight years I ran the badminton program at Kobe Phoenix Athletic Club in Kobe. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather. Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

More about Minato

I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
