Self-taught calligraphy artist
- 🇯🇵 Kobe, Hyogo, Japan
- Little Lincoln Gallery
- 1985 to 2011
- Japanese
I work mostly in calligraphy, sometimes oil painting. My first show was in 1985 at Little Lincoln Gallery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by my grandmother's kitchen. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
What gifts mean to Minato: A gift would go toward materials for my next series.
