Mim Sharmin Alam
Musician with Mangaluru Greenfield Orchestra
- 🇮🇳 Mangaluru, Karnataka, India
- Since 1985
- English, Bengali, Spanish
I play folk music and brass band. I started in 1985 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 8 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I make terrible puns.
More about Mim
I write my first song when I was 17. It was terrible and I still love it.

What gifts mean to Mim: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
