Mim Nargis Chowdhury
Master of weaving, now teaching apprentices
- 🇧🇩 Dhaka, Dhaka, Bangladesh
- Old Silverlake Shop
- 1979 to 2010
- English, Bengali
I'm a weaving specialist. If you live around Dhaka, there's a good chance I've worked in a building near you.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I answer every message, eventually.

You fixed our roof in 1988 and charged half what others asked. Greetings from Bacoor.
