I've been a nurse for ten years, most of them in emergency care at St. Anne's Maternity Hospital in Addis Ababa. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
I like to keep things simple and honest. Small things matter when someone is frightened.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
