Miles M. Duncan

Youth rowing coach and mentor

  • 🇺🇸 San Diego, California, United States
  • San Diego Youth Club
  • 1980 to 2005
  • English
I coached rowing at San Diego Youth Club from 1980 to 2005. Most of my players were between 9 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life. My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
