For ten years I have been the home economics teacher at Derry Girls' School. I teach Year 9 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Miles
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Miles: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
