Mihret Birtukan Berhe
Children's librarian in Addis Ababa
- 🇪🇹 Addis Ababa, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
- 1985 to 2014
- English, Amharic, Spanish
For 29 years I looked after the shelves, the card catalog and the regulars at Redwood Public Library.
I ran the Saturday reading group and the summer reading challenge. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.

What gifts mean to Mihret: I'd put a gift toward a reading corner at the nearby school.
