I've coached swimming at Timișoara Athletic Club since 1981. Most of my players were between 10 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never turn anyone away.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Mihai
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Mihai: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
