18 years teaching special education in Contagem

Contagem Primary School

Portuguese

Contagem Primary School is my second home. I teach special education there since 1979, mostly primary school children. I've coached the school's quiz team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

More about Miguel

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Miguel: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
