Helping people break into first-generation students

For 19 years I've mentored people in first-generation students and nursing. Mostly it's coffee, honest feedback and a lot of listening.
I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I fix old bicycles.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
