For 29 years I've run the gymnastics program at Ciudad de México Swimming Club in Ciudad de México. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
