For 37 years I've run the softball program at Ciudad de México Athletic Club in Ciudad de México. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
