For eight years I have been the home economics teacher at San Cristóbal de las Casas Grammar School. I teach Grade 6 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Miguel
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Miguel: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
