Miguel A. Arias
Upholstery, done properly
- 🇲🇽 León, Guanajuato, Mexico
- 1985 to 1995
- Spanish
I've worked in upholstery from 1985 to 1995. I learned from my older brother and passed what I could on to 310 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I never rush a conversation.
More about Miguel
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Miguel: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
