Mick S. O'Rourke

Teacher at Kilkenny Middle School, loves economics

I taught economics at Kilkenny Middle School in Kilkenny from 2012 to 2023. Most days I taught Year 10, and I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term. I coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again. I'm still learning every day.

More about Mick

If you were in my Year 10 class, you probably remember the time the class pet escaped.
