I teach English literature at Newport Primary School in Newport since 1982. Most days I teach Grade 6, and I learn every name in the first week.
Over the years I've had 1,800 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Michael
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the farm, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
