Michael Bello Okafor
Mentor in writing and law school
- 🇳🇬 Epe, Lagos, Nigeria
- Andes Foundation
- Since 1993
- English, Igbo
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 1,720 people through Andes Foundation.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Michael
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Michael: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
