I came to teaching late, after working as a mechanic, and nine years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I had 410 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
What gifts mean to Micah: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me Spanish in 2001 at Hamilton Grammar School. I still remember the long bus ride home.

A small gift is a big thank-you.
