I coached wrestling at Philadelphia Good Shepherd Sports Club from 1988 to 2005. Most of my players were between 8 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I answered every email, even at midnight.
More about Mia
If you played for me, you probably remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.
What gifts mean to Mia: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
