Mia P. Walsh
Coached cycling for 31 years in Los Angeles
- 🇺🇸 Los Angeles, California, United States
- 1989 to 2020
- English
I coached cycling at Queensway Community Club from 1989 to 2020. Most of my players were between 11 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I fix old bicycles.
More about Mia
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Mia: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
