For 38 years I've run the boxing program at Denver Boxing Gym in Denver. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learn every name in the first week.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Mia
If you played for me, you probably remember the long bus ride home.
What gifts mean to Mia: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
